About Me

I know how overwhelming it can feel to start or resume a fitness journey. You might be wondering:

  • Am I doing the right exercises?
  • Will I be able to stick with it this time?
  • Where should I even begin?

Trust me, you’re not alone—I’ve been there, too.

I’ve always loved fitness. I even studied sports and got my degree to become a PE teacher. But when I became a stay-at-home mom, I realized I wasn’t making any real progress with my own fitness.

I started having lower back pain from things as simple as doing laundry. I wanted to lose some extra fat and build muscle to feel more toned, but nothing seemed to give me true progress. Then I noticed something in photos—what I call my "mom posture." My shoulders looked slouched, my hips tilted, and I knew it was from years of carrying babies and not strengthening the right muscles afterward.

At first, I tried following YouTube workout videos. They were easy and free, and there was always something new to try, never getting bored. But I quickly realized that while they were fun, they didn’t give me a real plan to reach my goals. There was no structure, no progressive overload, and they didn’t address my posture or other concerns. I found not having a solid plan also leads me to stop working out for a bit, then starting over again.

That’s when I decided to dig deeper. I wanted to understand how to create a workout plan that actually works. I became a Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Loss Specialist to not only fix my own struggles but also to help others overcome theirs.

Even with my certification, I still faced new challenges. I started going to the gym, dropping off my toddler at child watch while I worked out. However, we kept catching sickness there, and this led to constantly stopping my workout flow and restarting at zero. It became frustrating, and I knew I needed a better solution.

That’s when I decided to create my own workout plan at home using the tools and budget I had available. I quickly realized you don’t need tons of fancy equipment to achieve your goals. Simple, effective workouts with either a stepper, some weights, resistance bands, or even just bodyweight exercises can work effectively when using the right training methods!

While I enjoy looking and feeling stronger, I also saw my everyday posture and movements improve. After years of carrying babies around, I had developed a "mom slouch" and poor posture, which affected my confidence and self-esteem. Now, my posture is strong and upright, making me look and feel more confident.

This experience reshaped my approach to fitness, and now I’m passionate about helping others achieve their goals with simple, effective, and sustainable methods that fit seamlessly into their daily flow.

My Training Approach

My training method focuses on developing muscle stability, increasing muscle endurance, building muscle size and strength through progressive overload, and enhancing flexibility and balance. This well-rounded approach ensures sustainable progress while improving overall strength, control, and movement quality. It reduces the risk of injury, improves posture, and boosts overall health, making daily tasks feel easier and more manageable.

Fitness should fit seamlessly into your daily flow to support lasting success. Whether it’s lifting groceries, playing with your kids, or simply moving with more confidence, I’m here to help you feel stronger, healthier, and confident in your fitness plan!
